February 23, 2007. Nassau Coliseum -- Uniondale, NY

I left home at 4am. I haven't slept in over 50 hours, but I was no way in hell tired. As a matter of fact, i was so pumped. All those trains and buses I had to wait for took about an eternity before they finally came. My heart was pumping so fast. What if the line was really long? Can I wait that long in one spot all by myself without going crazy? Why can't any of my friends ever accompany me at concerts? Anyways, when I finally arrived at the Nassau Coliseum around 7am, there were only around 10 people there. I was soo close to the entrance, it made me so happy. I brought "Catcher in the Rye" with me to read and I also listened to Rise Against alot, I listened to a few of their newer songs that I didn't know too well and made sure I got the words down. I love them almost as much as I love My Chemical Romance.

I did alot of running around the Coliseum and  I hid out in the bathroom because it was unbearably cold. Finally, when 5:30pm came around, many people put away their things and it got chaotic. Everyone was trying to line up at the front. There was trouble among some people and several were upset. Oh well. The security dudes promised to door at 6:30pm, but wtf, they doored at 7pm. It was cold and I was sooo irritated. Finally, we were let in, and we all just ran for our lives. I ran down the spiral of ramps like i've never ran before and I had passed several people. I was at the front of the stage, close to the center (but closer to Frank's side). We waited around watching them set up and stuff.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
THIS IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD!

Rise Against finally came on! I loved them, and there were several fans of theirs behind me! We all rocked out to them and sang their songs at the top of our lungs. Some girls were offended by them though, because they couldn't take the pictures of the animal cruelty, although I swear, there was no upsetting pictures. If anything, they just showed the close-up of an elephant and used photoshop or something to make that picture red and then back to the original color, and then red again, and etc. Their set was over waay to fast. Unfortunately.

MCR's Performance. Spoilers included!
Everyone started pushing to the front like crazy. I was pushed to the 3rd row when I WAS at the front row. That really, really pissed me off. Anyways, finally, a gurney with a blanket over someone (oh my, I wonder who!) underneath was pushed to the center of the stage, and then music that we all recognized began playing. The blanket was pulled off the person and guess who was underneath! Yup, Gerard Way. He just stared out at the crowd while lying there for a few seconds, then as he began singing, he got off the gurney while wearing a hospital gown. Then he ripped it off, WHOOO!!

The curtain was pulled back, and with bright lights and an eye-popping background, stood Frank, Mikey, Bob in the back, and Ray. All of them wore brand new matching black parade jackets. We rocked out to all of the songs from The Black Parade in order. As Gerard performed one of the songs, he grabbed the microphone stand....and he placed the end of it at his...ahem..lower middle, and the other end of it was slightly pointing up. Then, after they performed all the songs off TBP, they sang Blood while the curtain was closed and they were behind it. It was so cute! I thought that was it. That ended waayy too fast.

The curtain was pulled back once more, and the background then had a ring of guns and Revenge in the middle. He started off playing "It's not a fashion statement, it's a deathwish". My favorite off TCFSR. He played several more tracks. When he played "prison", while singing "too much, too late", he did the "jerking off"gesture, which made me laugh and blush. 'Twas awesome. Helena was last. It was beautiful.

All throughout the show, I saw them all laughing, smiling and interacting with each other. Frank seemed so giddy to be back. I also saw Mikey and Gerard sneaking looks at each other and then smiling. Oh yea! Some say Mikey tripped, and I guess he did, I didn't see it. But I did see him lying on the floor, rocking the fck out! I thought he was pulling a "Frank", lol. While he was on the floor rocking out, Frank went over to him and played over his body, then Gerard turned around and saw Mikey, and then he goes to sing over him. That was soo great. Also, Gee had pointed out someone in the crowd to Bob, saying something about how that fan gave him something Ninja Turtle related, and Bob looked at that person, and gave this really shy little wave, and then he turned it into a thumbs-up. IT WAS THE CUTEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN! YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN HIS FACE!!

Well, that was the best show ever. It was over too fast though. I lost my digital camera which I never had the chance to use due to mean security guards. I had to face some "fans" in serious need of personality adjustments coughracistscough. I waited about 10 minutes at where their tour buses were, but because it was just unbearably cold, I decided to hail a taxi and go home.
It's gonna feel like freakin' forever before they come to NY again. I mean, they are touring in ALL over the world. Their performances need to go down in history. If you saw it, you'd know what I mean.
